Invite your friends and family over for a dinner party. With relaxing music playing, delicious food and fun fruity drinks to replace what once would have been alcohol, you can have a fun evening of laughter and good company.
2.) Go See a Movie
If your itching to get out of the house but also looking for something relaxing to do, going to see a movie may be the right choice. To avoid any lines and added wait time you can order your ticket on line so all you have to do is grab an non alcoholic drink and some popcorn, find your seat and enjoy the movie!
Having a fun night out to bowl is always a must. So get your friends together to play a few games and enjoy each other’s company. Be sure to get a lane away from the bar area so you do not feel uncomfortable. If you enjoy bowling as an regular activity look into joining a league.
4.) Beach Trip
Going solo or with friends there’s nothing more relaxing than the sound of the ocean, sand between your toes and the sun shining down on you. So if your itching to get out of the house head to the beach with a towel and a good book and take in the beautiful day.
Exercise is not for all but it is good for you. So if your feeling restless, heading to the gym can give you a positive outlet for your pent up energy.

Something as simple as a walk can raise your spirits. Smiling at others as they pass you by with a quick hello, how are you. Bonus your getting some exercise!
Gardening is a relaxing way to get creative and release tension and anxiety. From the start of tilling the soil and putting plants in the ground to the finished product while enjoying the foods you’ve personally grown you will feel pride and satisfaction that you have created something great.

Visiting a museum is a great way to get out in the general public, as well as a way to learn something new. If learning about history and art is your thing then head to a museum.
9.) Take a Hike
State land provides an abundance of trails you can hike. This is a relaxing experience that allows you to connect with nature while exercising.
10.) Volunteer your Time
Pick a cause near to your heart. You could volunteer at a local hospital, animal shelter, VA, or a homeless shelter. Giving back to your community will leave you with a since of pride in knowing that you can now help others.
